Meet Pastor Arlie
and Wendy Whitlow

Arlie and Wendy moved from Richmond, VA, in 2019 to plant Roots Church through ARC (The Association of Related Churches).  After 24 years of marriage, they have six amazing kids, five lovely girls and one son.  They enjoy spending time together as a family, eating good food from the grill, and going to the beach.

A big part of Arlie's ministry has been leading worship and songwriting.  He had the opportunity to direct the student music ministry program at Oral Roberts University when Keri Jobe, Jared Anderson, and Jon Eagan were students.  Some of his original songs are available on Apple Music and Spotify.

While in full-time ministry, Arlie received a Masters in Practical Theology from Regent University and a Doctorate of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary.  He is passionate about communicating God's Word and applying it to everyday life.
